Dr. Seth Dworkin joined the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at Toronto Metropolitan University in 2011. Prior to joining the faculty at Toronto Metropolitan University, he was a Post-doctoral fellow and Lecturer in the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at the University of Toronto. Dr. Dworkin did his graduate work at Yale University and an internship at École Polytechnique in France. Dr. Dworkin’s work is impacting the fields of clean air and renewable energy through new techniques in high-performance computer simulation. His research into combustion particle emissions is aiding the design of cleaner engines and power plants. He also performs research towards the optimization of geo-exchange systems.
